This was the 16th annual Lake Minnetonka Triathlon and the FIRST year of Mike Rogers owning the triathlon!
There was a bit of rain in the morning during the safety meeting and prep time, but once the race began the rain cleared out. We had a few Team 360 members participate in the triathlon, including Mike, Patrick, and our newest advisor, Nick! Our very own Marketing Coordinator, Kendra, was the lady in charge as the Race Director of the triathlon!
Every year, our firm uses the triathlon as a fundraiser for a local Minnesota charity. This year, we chose YMCA- Camp Christmas Tree Scholarship Fund. Camp Christmas Tree is a camp where kids can go to escape the technology and enjoy the outdoors! Kids learn important life skills and build self-esteem. The YMCA offers scholarships to those who cannot afford to go to camp and that's where we came in!
With the help of family, friends, and participants of the triathlon, we were able to raise $10,000 for YMCA- Camp Christmas Tree!!! This is our biggest contribution to a charity thus far and we are extremely proud of all who helped out!
Thank you to all of our family, friends, and clients who helped us raise money for such a great cause!

Summer is around the corner, so we decided to throw an Art Party in celebration!
Like Painting and Stuff?
Some painting, beading, leather staining, and more! We showed up to the studio, provided by Upstairs Circus in the North Loop. They provided all the supplies and assistance with the projects. Our clients were able to create a variety of projects like jewelry, leather wallets, dog collars, wall hangings, cutting boards and more!
Oh, did we mention we did this all while enjoying fun circus themed cocktails!

Temperature is dropping, snow is on the ground, and holiday season is upon us.
To get away from the hustle and bustle, we treated some of our clients to a night in of pallet painting!
What's a Pallet Painting Party?
It's simple! We show up to the studio, provided by Board and Brush. They provided the wood, stain, paint, and other supplies. Our clients picked the stencil ahead of time and created a masterpiece!
Bellies were full of food, laughs rang throughout the studio, and people found their artistic side.

Another holiday season calls for another round of toy collecting!
With the help of Team 360 and our fabulous clients, we were able to collect a total of 103 toys!
Though this is a lower number than last year, Team 360 was excited to collect so many toys and bring happiness to so many local children!
You can view our Kare11 News appearance right here!
Thank you to all of our clients who helped us donate so many toys this holiday season!

It was a beautiful Saturday as the clients of 360 Financial saddled up and headed to Canterbury Park for an afternoon of fun!
The horses were ready for the races and so were the Basset Hounds! There were a total of 4 Basset Hounds races with 10-12 dogs per race. We got to watch some run with their ears flopping in the wind, while others were slightly confused and laid down on the track.
Our clients went got the insider's experience with tours of the paddock areas led by former jockey, Mark Irving. The paddock is the area where horses are saddles and paraded before being taken onto the track.
360 Financial sponsored one of the horse races and as an added bonus, a group of clients were able to watch the race from the winner's circle and get a group picture with the winning horse.

This was our 8th year sponsoring the Lake Minnetonka Triathlon.
Every year, our firm uses the triathlon as a fundraiser for a local Minnesota charity. This year, we chose Can Do Canines. Can Do Canines is a local organization that strives to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities by creating mutually beneficial partnerships with specially trained dogs. These dogs go through an extensive training and are paired with someone who needs assistance.
In past years, we've had a couple Team 360 members participate in the triathlon and this year was the largest Triathlon Team 360! We had 6 of our staff signed up for either doing the full triathlon or participating in a team. Throughout the weeks our athletes trained hard, supported each other, and share our fundraising efforts with family and friends.
Though our Team 360 athletes were ready to go come race day, the triathlon was cancelled due to heavy rain and lightning. We were disappointed that it was cancelled, but it was a good safety call made by the triathlon coordinator.
With the help of our family, friends, and clients, 360 Financial was able to raise $7,794 for Can Do Canines! We are incredibly proud and thankful for everyone who helped us reach AND exceed our original goal of $5,000.

12+ Inches of Snow...in APRIL?? We're baffled just as you are!
To put a little green in the lives of our clients ,and to show our appreciation, we held a Succulent Planting Party!
What's a Succulent Planting Party?
Our clients came over to create a small custom made succulent planter designed by them! Succ It Up Buttercup provided us with the containers, dirt, succulents, and extra decorating items. Our clients put them together and got to take their creation home! Team 360 made some succulent planters as well. The best part, no gardening experience was required! So those who lack the green thumb were able to create something beautiful too! Thank you to all of our clients that were able to make it!

We at 360 Financial are passionate about giving back to the community and showing appreciation to our clients. Why not combine them!?
We hosted a Holiday Open House party to celebrate this merry season and to show appreciation to our loyal clients and friends. Our 360 Team encouraged our guests to bring a gift to give to Toys for Tots, as we were a drop off location for the second year in a row. We had a lot of people bring in toys for this great organization! Our clients enjoyed delicious food, fun games, and our festive photo booth.
Our toy goal for this year was to donate 360 toys to Toys for Tots. Unfortunately, we did not reach this goal, but we were able to exceed our giving contribution from last season.
For 2017, the 360 family was able to donate $510 and 119 toys!
Thank you to all of our family, friends, and clients for helping us donate all the wonderful toys!

This year, our Client Appreciation event took place at Wayzata Brew Works Brewery along Lake Minnetonka. We were thankful for a beautiful evening out on the patio that looks out on the lake. Tasting locally brewed beers wasn't the only thing everyone raved about. Live music from Gary LaRue got people dancing and we even had a guest jump on stage and performed a duet with Gary. Along with interacting with the crowd, Gary LaRue sings hits originally by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin Bobby Darin and many more! But what's beer without chocolate? That's right chocolate! People got to "Find Their Chocolate" with chocolate tastings from L'more Chocolat, a local premiere chocolate shop located in Wayzata. And of course, we can't forget about the delicious Italian food provided by D'Micao and Sons. We were glad we could spend such a fun evening with clients, friends, and family. The 360 Team cannot express enough how grateful we are for the loyalty to our clients have to 360 Financial! It is a pleasure serving them and being their financial steward! Thank you!

Thank you to all of our artists who joined us for painting and wine(and beer) at Brush Studio! It was fun seeing all the different variations of the Stone Arch Bridge with the Minneapolis skyline. Can't wait to see what's next on the canvas!
We cannot believe it's already been 20 years as a firm! We wanted to thank our clients in making these 20 years the best we could imagine by holding a gala at the Nicollet Island Pavilion. Despite the rain, clients still got their portraits taken with the river in the background. Tables were decorated with beautiful flower arrangements with shoe shine kits. Why shoe shine kits? Mike Rogers's first job at the age of seven was his very own shoe shinning service in Detroit, Michigan. We had live music provided by The Modd Squad and the dance floor was packed! Thank you everyone who could join us on this most memorable August night!
With higher than average rainfall this past June, it’s no surprise that we had a “bit of rain” during our client appreciation event at the Minnesota Zoo. However, in spite of the soggy day, most everyone found something to smile about. The Zoomobile shared some interesting creatures with our guests, the face-painter was a big hit, and the Scavenger Hunt garnered some very creative answers! While we would have preferred a warm and sunny day, we were glad to have the opportunity to express our thanks to clients, friends and family for supporting 360 Financial over the years.
Looking for a fun way to break up the winter blahs (and boy, were they in abundance this year!), we reprised our Cook-off Contest in January. This year’s challenge was soup! And who better to judge the entries than some of our clients! Taking first place this year was Spicy Chicken Tortilla Soup (click here for the recipe). The warmth of food and fellowship made up for the frigid temperatures outside, and we’re already planning how to make next year’s Cook-off even better!
